our cottage blanketed with a record breaking snowfall!
the prettiest string of Christmas lights could not out shine these lovely icicles.
Christmas Eve day we were with out power. ali (in the kitchen at right) set to cooking a fine pot of chili on our little burton butane stove while i hung the stockings on the chimney with care!
grandpa's tee shirts became dresses as snow clothes dried, and images of taffeta, satin and lace danced in our heads
